Reiki is derived from the Japanese words "Rei" and "Ki"
and is sometimes referred to as "The Universal Life Force Energy"

"Rei" is a word that can be loosely translated to mean "The Higher Intelligence that guides the creation and functioning of the Universe" and the word "Ki" can be translated to mean "Life Force". The Hawaiians refer to this energy (or Life Force) as "Ti" or "Ki" and the Chinese know it as “Chi”.  It can be considered to be the essence of what controls and guides our lives.

Reiki is a pure and natural healing technique and can never create or cause harm. It has the ability to heal people on many different levels: Physical, Spiritual, and Emotional. Reiki energy is not bound by the laws of physicality, time or space and healing will occur where and as needed. In addition to its healing abilities, Reiki is a true form of stress reduction. During a Reiki session most people experience a deep, deep sense of relaxation and most often problems that a person is experiencing at the start of a session become non-existent by the end. As a Reiki practitioner I function as a conduit for the "Universal Life Force Energy", connecting it to the person receiving the healing.

Reiki Sessions:

 $50 donation per session  -  In House (Upcountry Maui)   
 $65 donation per session  -  Call out

Sessions typically last between 40 minutes and 1 hour. You may either sit in a chair or lay on a massage table, whichever feels more comfortable for you. During the session calm music is played. Reiki is non-invasive and during the session I will place my hands on/over various areas of your body. Almost everyone experiences a deep, deep feeling of relaxation and most experience the sensation of warmth wherever my hands are placed (Others have experienced a sensation of coldness, tingling or sometimes nothing at all).

Reiki must be experienced to be truly appreciated.      

I have been trained, by my Reiki Master and trainer White Feather Woman (Rev. Mary Sukup), in the Usui System of Reiki and carry both the Usui -Takata lineage as well as the Rand -Tibetan lineage.
